What is the minimum security required on my touring caravan when it is not being towed?
Caravans left unattended for 2 hours or more will not be covered for theft or attempted theft unless:
SINGLE AXLE – a wheel clamp and hitch lock are fitted;
TWIN AXLE – either 2 wheel clamps and a hitch lock are fitted or one wheel clamp and hitch lock are fitted and a burglar alarm is in operation.
Additional security measures may be required for some caravans.
Is my touring caravan covered when it is being towed?
All accidental damage to your touring caravan will be covered whilst the caravan is being towed.

What is a CRIS number?
The CRIS number is a 17 digit unique identification number given to touring caravans. This number is also referred to as a VIN or serial number.
Where can I find my touring caravan CRIS/serial number?
The CRIS/serial number can usually be found on caravan registration documents or etched on the windows of the touring caravan.
Who do I call if I need to make a claim?
In the event of a claim you will need to telephone Coast on 01892 786099 with brief details, quoting your policy reference. You will then be sent a claim form to complete.

Does my touring caravan insurance cover accidental damage?
Yes, your touring caravan insurance will cover your caravan for loss or damage caused by accidental damage.
Do you offer new for old cover on touring caravans?
We can offer new for old cover on touring caravans up to 10 years old.
