Birmingham to host inaugural Park Home Owners Conference

The National Park Home Congress will host its first annual park home owners conference in Birmingham at the end of this month.

Around 1,000 park home owners are expected to attend the event, which will be headlined by speeches from Housing Minister Grant Shapps, resident campaigner Sheila Austin and Consumer Focus watchdog representative Gemma Bowen.

Two of the most prominent MPs behind the campaign to increase the rights of park home owners, Annette Brook and Stephen Gilbert, will also address the conference along with Detective Inspector Mark Colquhoun, who has published police force guidance on prosecuting unscrupulous park operators.

If you would like to attend the event, delegate passes are available in advance at a charge of £3 per person or £5 per couple. Visit www.parkhomecongress.com for more information.

Don’t forget that Coast’s park home insurance includes legal expenses cover – including disputes between park home owners and site operators – in addition to protecting your park home and its contents.
