Caravan Gallery arrives in Oxford

An art project infusing the world of caravanning and culture is inviting people in the Oxford area to help with its latest exhibition.

The ‘Caravan Gallery’ has been touring the country for the last ten years, presenting various shows on the idea of place, personality and identity.

Its latest project is ‘Oxford Pride and Place’, an anarchic celebration of one of Britain’s most iconic cities. The caravan will be pitched outside Oxford Castle’s O3 Gallery from May 12th – 27th, displaying photos of the city’s biggest attractions and hidden charms.

The artists behind the project, Jan Williams and Chris Teasdale, are also appealing to local residents to add their own stamp on the exhibition, by marking their favourite places or fondest memories on a giant map of Oxford.
