The British weather can be unpredictable. Here are some indoor game ideas for those rainy days.
Pontoon – Pontoon can be played by any number of players from two upwards – it works well with 5 to 8 players – using a standard 52 card pack. You can play with match sticks and washing up duties.
Uno -The classic card game of matching colours and numbers; Special Action Cards and Wild Cards for unexpected excitement and game-changing fun
Rummy – a card game, sometimes played with two decks, in which the players try to form sets and sequences of cards
Scrabble – a word game in which two to four players score points by placing words on a board. Swat up on your z and q words!
Cluedo – the classic mystery game – a grand mansion … a dastardly murder … a gathering of suspicious characters. WHO, with WHAT weapon…
Chess – The game is played by millions of people worldwide. Slightly more complicated than draughts but well worth learning.
Draughts – Players take turns to move a piece of their own colour. Any piece that reaches the far edge of the board is immediately crowned and is thereafter known as a “King”
Charades – the funniest acting and word game for families and groups
Logo Board Game – Identify images and answer questions based on logos, products and packaging of the UK’s most well-known brands.
Monopoly Deal – Be the first collect 3 full property sets of different colours, and you’ll win. This game is shorter than the original Monopoly with less likelyhood of family arguments!
