Professional footballer develops eco-friendly caravan cleaner

Football and caravans might not seem like an obvious combination, but former Tottenham Hotspur captain Gary Mabbutt has embarked on a new business venture to make cleaning your leisure vehicle an eco-friendly task!

Since hanging up his football boots, Mabbutt has pursued a new career as the director of With-Out Water (WOW), a waterless methods of cleaning caravans, motorhomes, cars and bikes.

Developed by a team of physicists working alongside the ex-England player, With-Out water is a gel product that absorbs surface dirt and is then buffered off the paintwork with a cloth.

“With the way the world is going, water is becoming more precious and more expensive,” Mabbutt explained to the Welwyn Hatfield Times. “This ticks all the boxes. It’s completely harmless, biodegradable and environmentally friendly.”

WOW’s new waterless vehicle was will be of particular interest to leisure vehicle owners in the south east, where a hosepipe ban recently came into force.
