Here are some reasons why it came out on top…

Despite being entry level, looks wise you wouldn’t know the difference between the Explore and its upmarket cousins. It has a solid construction body, an AKS3004 stabiliser and a buttonless handbrake, alongside a great set of alloy wheels.

The Xplore lounge, bedroom and washroom also live up to the high market spec. The lounge converts into either one double or two single beds. The side-dinette then converts into a pair of bunk beds with a detachable ladder for the top bunk.

The kitchen, if looked at closely is one of the key areas which may give some clues that this is an entry level caravan. The combination oven and grill however work very well and a microwave is an optional added extra if desired.

In terms of storage, the space under the bottom fixed bunk is totally clear, in addition between the washroom and side dinette there is a decently-sized wardrobe as well as nine overhead lockers in the kitchen, perfect to fit in everything a family needs.

In conclusion, the Xplore is clearly great value for money, spacious and perfect for a larger family.
