Victory fights back to holiday lodge success

Sadly the recent economic climate has badly affected the leisure industry, so it’s nice to hear a positive story for one holiday lodge manufacturer.

In 2009, manufacturer Cosalt stopped producing holiday homes from its Hull factory. Instead of the site lying dormant, however, former Cosalt Managing Director Peter Nevitt decided to join forces with a local motor company – Rix – to give it a new lease of life under a new name: Victory.

The fledgling firm was awarded a grant by Hull City Council and put together a small workforce of 30 people in order to begin producing static caravans and holiday lodges.

Victory proved an immediate hit within the leisure community and orders flew in, which meant by April last year they were had to leave the factory they’d taken over as they’d outgrown the premises!

Victory’s new site harnesses the latest technologies to produce around 15 quality holiday lodges each week. The firm now has 80 employees and is going from strength to strength.

Whatever your make of holiday lodge, don’t forget to protect it from accidents and damage by taking out a holiday lodge insurance policy.
