A review of the Regal Symphony holiday lodge
Regal Holiday Homes has launched a new two bedroom holiday lodge, the Regal Symphony Lodge, which is designed to minimise utility costs through enhanced thermal efficiency.
Based on its successful Symphony model, which clinched the 2012 Caravan Holiday Home Constructors Award, the Symphony Lodge has been manufactured using market-leading techniques and materials including highly insulated SIP floor panels, foil faced Celotex wall cavity panels and extra deep insulation to the roof space. It also features tongue and groove ceiling boarding in the lounge.
Its interior has a modern and comfortable design including a three piece suite and cushioned swivel chair in the lounge, a high gloss fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer and dishwasher as standard. Other contemporary kitchen features include a five burner gas hob, microwave, double gas oven, separate wine cooler and popup plug socket with USB charging point.
The two bedrooms – a double and twin as standard – include an en suite in the master bedroom. There is also a second shower room for general use.
The master bedroom is comparable to a stylish hotel room with good use of space. Full height windows maximise the natural light and voiles hang at the window behind the plush curtains. Furniture is the same high gloss cream as in the kitchen. Over bed lights can be individually switched off, so you can nod off whilst your partner is emgrossed in a book.
A shower is fitted as standard in the en-suite, but a bath is an option.
