Concept campervan puts alpine lodge on the road

Many of the latest caravan and motorhome concepts were revealed at the Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Europe’s largest motorhome show, last week including a rather unusual campervan by manufacturer Eura Mobil.

The ‘Rolling Mountain Hut’ combines log cabin living with a compact motorhome with its oak floor, walls and ceiling panels. Interior features such as fixed lampshades dangling from the ceiling also help to create a distinctly alpine feel not before seen in a moveable leisure home.

In addition to pushing the boundaries, many of the latest mainstream caravan and motorhome developments were also unveiled at the German event. UK caravanners will get a chance to see some of these at The Motorhome & Caravan Show, which takes place at Birmingham’s NEC from 15^th-20^th October.
