Glamping site finalist in White Rose Awards

Nestled in 250 acres of the luscious North Yorkshire countryside lies Camp Katur. Know to some as the home of outdoor adventure, others as a place of relaxation and tranquillity. It here you can choose your very own unique safari tent, tipi, bell tent or hobbit pod, to experience a night glamping under the stars.

The glamping village, set up by 32 year old Kerry Roy, has just been notified as a finalist in the Caravan Holiday Park & Holiday Village category of the White Rose Awards 2014. The awards are held each year by ‘Welcome to Yorkshire’ the official tourism agency for the traditional county of Yorkshire, to recognise excellence in the field of tourism. The honours are awarded each year by an independent panel of judges and the ceremony is the largest of its kind in the UK.
