Mercedes unveils concept campervan

For the comfort of campervanning with the style of a sportscar, look no further than the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter caravan – a concept camper unveiled by the German manufacturer in Düsseldorf earlier this month.

Based on its iconic Sprinter transit van, Mercedes has produced two versions powered by 2.15-litre and 3.0-litre engines respectively.

In terms of features, the Sprinter caravan has a luxury leather interior with LED lighting, laminate flooring and a Bluetooth connectivity radio. An optional reverse camera is also available to assist with parking.

In addition to being stylish and comfortable, the concept campervan is also environmentally friendly as some models include reduced rolling resistance tyres to lower emissions and an eco stop/start function to conserve fuel consumption.

Although the campervan is currently just a display model, further news regarding production will be revealed in the coming weeks.
