New Hymer Motorhome for 2017
Hymer are set to introduce a new luxury, two berth major sub 3500kg model for 2017.
The HymerCar Grand Canyon S measures 5.93m long and 2.14m wide and is the first to be built on the Mercedes-Benz sprinter. Having a Mercedes-Benz base means you also get some of the car makers advanced on-road technology driving aids to help keep you safe. In addition to this, the cab is fitted with air-con, cruise control, a trip computer, plus electric windows and assisted closing sliding doors.
If you need to take large items with you then the van has a through loading area and equipment can be secured using the landing rails attached to the chassis.
The luxury feeling of the model is prevalent from the moment you step on board via the electric step. In addition, the living and dining area is upholstered with a leather trim. The lighting is dimmable and fabric is used to cover the walls and roof lining to make it feel cosy.
The van is fitted with a 1.95m x1.4m double bed across the rear and has handy fitted over head and under bed storage.
The kitchen is spacious and comes complete with two gas burners, a stainless steel sink and a 90-litre fridge.
There are also a number of space-saving features, such as an all-in-one lounge/dinette with a fold-out table that can fit four people. Alongside, an easy to operate fold out sink in the washroom.
This new model is said to be priced at around £46,000.
