A very merry holiday lodge Christmas
With advent now underway, the Coast team is merrily tucking into our advent calendars and debating whether to put up some tinsel in our office. We’re not the only ones full of festive cheer either…
We really enjoyed an article on Park Home lifestyle website about how to celebrate Christmas if you’re staying in a holiday lodge.
Their first recommendation is not to compromise on decorations just because you’re away from your usual residence. Take a tree with you and put up plenty of paper chains!
On the big day itself, make the most of your great holiday park location and take a scenic walk whilst the turkey is in the oven.
Going away for Christmas is also a perfect opportunity to maximise time with the family, especially if you have teenage children who tend to slope away to their room once the last roast potato has been consumed. Make sure you take some board games with you so that you can play together – especially if your holiday lodge doesn’t have a television.

If you’re a holiday lodge owner, don’t forget to make sure your home and contents are covered by a valid holiday lodge insurance policy.
Plus, if you’re a year-round park home resident, did you know that we increase the sums of contents insured by 10% during December to cover storage of your Christmas gifts?
