Motorhome insurance
Finding comprehensive motorhome insurance cover is a very important part of your holiday preparations – as it’s your transport and your home rolled into one, you don’t want to be left in the lurch should anything happen whilst you’re on vacation.
There’s nothing more liberating than taking to the road in your campervan or motorhome for a few days in the fresh air, and many caravaners are deciding to trade their tourer for a motorhome to avoid the hassle of towing their leisure vehicle.
Whether you’re making the switch from caravans or you’re a motorhome specialist, however, one thing is for sure: you won’t have complete peace of mind until you’ve got a quote for your insurance and arranged cover for your motorhome. Only then can you truly set off in style!

Is Insuring your Motorhome Compulsory?
If you have a motorhome and you haven’t declared it off the road through a Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN), then you need to have valid motorhome insurance in place.
Some motorhome owners SORN their leisure vehicles during the winter months when they are in storage. However, if you have done this, you will need to renew your motorhome insurance cover when the season begins before you take your campervan back on the road.
